Glendalough (County Wicklow, Ireland)

As already stated in my post on the Powerscourt  estate you should take the chance and plan a visit to County Wicklow.

On the day we spent in the Wicklow mountains the Irish weather showed its typical clouded sky with some fog. That ensured a very speacial atmosphere. 
First, we discovered the remains of the old monastery. Afterwards we took the walkway to the lakes (upper and lower).

In my opinion Glendalough is a must see!

Tip:
Even if you don't have a rental car it is easy to go on a trip to Glendalough.
